Nigel Farage says he won't stand for election on June 8
Nigel Farage has ruled out standing in the General Election, saying he wants to focus on the “fight for Brexit in Europe”. The former Ukip leader, who has failed to become an MP seven times, said he had considered running in Clacton this time. He said he was tempted by the seat after former Ukip member Douglas Carswell announced he would be standing down as MP.
